Notice of Changes to Restaurant Operations
We sincerely appreciate your continued patronage.
Due to recent sharp rises in ingredient costs and staffing shortages, it has become difficult for the restaurants at Hotel Nikko Kumamoto to maintain the same operating structure as before. In order to continue offering high-quality cuisine and heartfelt service in a stable manner, we regret to inform you that we will be changing our operations effective Sunday, November 1.
While some dinner services will be reduced, lunch service will be expanded to make it more accessible. In addition, the kappo counter “Kozue” within our Japanese restaurant will begin dinner service.
Through the end of the year, many guests are expected for events including banquets, so we will concentrate staffing across the hotel to ensure guests can enjoy a better experience. Going forward, we will continue to review staffing and operational conditions and will consider and coordinate the partial resumption of some services after the New Year so that we may offer you opportunities to dine with us again.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and ask for your understanding of the circumstances.
