1階ロビーのカーペットとソファが新しくなりました
ホテル日航熊本のロビーラウンジは、
雄大な阿蘇と肥後の美意識が溶け合い、
穏やかで凛とした佇まいのロビーが誕生しました。
阿蘇の雲海や大地の起伏、肥後てまりの幾何学文様や丸みを想起させる
柔らかなパターンの絨毯が足元に広がり、
やわらかな色調と質感にこだわったソファ、
木の温もりを活かしたテーブルが、ゆったりとした寛ぎを演出します。
さらに、サイドテーブルの一部には、熊本・八代産のい草を用いたデザインを採用。
地域の風土に根ざした素材が、空間にさりげない個性を添えています。
日本の暮らしに息づく自然素材を、現代的なデザインに昇華することで、
空間に熊本ならではの趣と奥行きを与えています。

The Lobby Lounge of Hotel Nikko Kumamoto is envisioned as a refined and welcoming space, where contemporary sensibility harmonizes with the majestic landscape of Aso, the cultivated aesthetics of Higo, and the enduring legacy of Kumamoto Castle.
A carpet inspired by Aso’s sea of clouds flows gently through the lounge, while sofas in soft, understated hues and carefully selected textures invite moments of quiet relaxation. Tables crafted with an appreciation for the natural warmth of wood further enhance the sense of comfort and calm.
Select side tables incorporate Igusa, a traditional rush grass cultivated in Yatsushiro, Kumamoto. By reinterpreting this material through modern design, the lounge subtly expresses a connection to the region’s natural heritage, adding depth and a distinctive sense of place.
